This clearing axe is specifically designed for cutting brush and small trees.
The 180 mm replaceable blade has 140 mm exposed for cutting. It cuts quickly with less fatigue than a standard axe, weighing only about 0.9 kg including the handle. Its balanced design makes it ideal for one-handed use while holding brush aside.
The blade is sturdy, yet at just over 1.5 mm thick, it has minimal wedging action for deep penetration. It can be resharpened just like a regular axe.
